Barry Manilow Sonic Attack http://www.dailytelegraph.news.com.au/story/0,20281,19360147-5001022,00.htmlYou probably read this elsewhere but here's my point "It has had mixed success elsewhere. At Blacktown it dispersed youths loitering around the railway station but Lithgow Council found that classical music piped into the main shopping strip did little to stop people hanging around." Don't they know that classical music is cool and/or will attract people listening to all kinds of metal ? Dresden Dolls hoorray
Well, just got back from my trip to Austria (~150 miles) to see a show of the Dresden Dolls. AWESOME This was my third show and it keeps getting better and better. And once again, I go myself a CD signed and a few minutes of talk with Amanda (who studied in my hometown of Regensburg some 10 years ago) Turned out she liked to go to the same clubs as I do (although rarely ^^) and that she performed street theater and worked as a waitress here. And most importantly, that she wanted to have a concert in this small (tiny?) indie club of ours for a long time*weeeh* This is the thing I love about the bands I listen to, You can chat with them ,record their show, take pictures and occasionally they get someone up the stage. |

Last night was one of these times, where you lie in bed, unable to sleep, pondering about stuff. And suddenly it hits you like a sledgehammer. All (well atlesat the monotheistic) religions are more or less based on one or a series of holy books. There's a canon and everything outside of it is labeled "untrue". What we've got now are different believe systems declaring each other as false and only accepting their own, leading to hatred, violence, genocide.... There is actually (of course in much less servere form) something pretty similiar to that fanboyism Sound's funny huh? let's look at some arguements "My ___ is more awesome than yours" "Your ___ is shallow" "My ___ has been around much more longer than yours" "My ___ has much more followers" "You are untrue to ____" "You can't believe in both" "You suck lololol" And if an outsider goes like "wtf what is your problem, seriously?" he will have his head torn off It's a scary thought. *wraps tape around his neck* Current Mood: scaredCurrent Music: Kasabian - Processed beats |
